Back in January I wrote about the high top trend, where I posted the photo of Miranda Kerr wearing gorgeous Isabel Marant sneakers as an inspiration. I loved her casual look very much, so the moment I saw these red babies on sale in Spanish Zara I knew I wanna recreate that Miranda's look. I had similar leggings and coat with me, everything else was borrowed :) What do you think of the result?

Trend Report: High Top Sneakers

The sneaker trend started by Isabel Marant seems to have spread all over the world. A colorful pair of sneakers is an awesome alternative to shoes like ballet flats or chunky boots, plus they add this sporty edge to an outfit and work great with skinny jeans, shorts or simple leggings (how hot does Miranda Kerr look in those leather leggings and Isabel Marant sneakers?). I love the playful color combos of Isabel Marant high tops but the fact that they retail for $600-$700 makes me look for more affordable alternatives (some of the sneakers below have a concealed wedge, so they still make you taller, looking like simple flats).
