GRUNGE CHIC

Why hello there total grunge chic, plaid UNIF dame skirt. You'd be a perfect addition to my spring/summer wardrobe! No, but seriously, I am so happy to finally find a killer plaid skirt. With all the plaid madness happening now, I've only been able to find good plaid shirt options, but no decent plaid pants or skirts. Def one of my top picks from Shopcuffs at the moment.

Later Skaters

So, I'm off to Asia again which means I have to do something that I absolutely despice beyond belief..... pack a suitcase. It turns out that I'm quite possibly, the world's worst suitcase packer (if that's even a thing)  I seem to lose any form of practical thinking and planning and throw random items of clothing into my case and regularly forget travel essentials such as plug adapters and toothbrushes. So I was pretty happy when I received a parcel from the guys at South Beach containing their amazing Sophie bikini  and Ellie crochet dress... Two pieces that went straight into my suitcase without hesitation. Enroute to France via Dubai and London, I'm excited to explore new and unknown parts of the world.

For me travel is what living is all about. I love meeting new people, uncovering favourite new places and absorbing new cultures. Travel has and continues to teach me how to learn, adapt, love and appreciate the best in life.

As Bill Bryson perfectly articulated, 'to my mind, the greatest reward and luxury of travel is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time, to be in a position in which almost nothing is so familiar it is taken for granted'.

Look of the Day: Denim Dungarees

These overalls have been waiting in my closet for a couple months now and finally the weather cooperated. I also wanna try wearing them as pants with the straps hanging loose, let's see how that turns out.

As you're reading this I'm on my way to Poland for a weekend with friends. Also, I've been on an online-shopping-only diet for quite a while, so I can't wait to hit the stores!
