Look of the Day: Timeless Classics

Hi guys, I hope you're having a great weekend! Here's an outfit I wore a couple of days ago, which, in my opinion comprises of all the essential classics every girl should have in her closet: a leather jacket, a white shirt, a good pencil skirt and a pair of pointy pumps. The latter in my case don't nearly get as much wear as they deserve. Which pieces would you define as your timeless classics?

We've had such an amazing weather last week, so I used every opportunity I had to go bare legged, especially since it's getting back to cold again. Let the blogger-whining-about-the-weather season begin!

The sun is back! We had a beautiful Saturday and I thought it was the time to put on my plaid skirt I made  months ago from the fabric I bought years ago :) Now that it's warm again I suddenly remembered I have so many skirts I haven't shown you yet, stay tuned!

Look of the Day: Trenchcoating

I first realized that I too can pull off hats when I bought this one, turns out all it takes is to figure out the style that fits you. Experimentally I found out I only look good in really large wide-brimmed fedoras, so no boaters or bowlers for me. I did order a fisherman style cap, because I've tried the one from the H&M's Paris Collection, though I couldn't decide whether I needed it back then:)

Anyways, I'm writing this because I know there are a lot of girls out there, who like hats on others but don't think they can pull'em off. All you need is to find your shape!

Look of the Day: Leather and Leopard

I actually find leopard print quite intimidating, I mean I really like it in small doses on other people but, judging from my first year of blogging experience I can totally go overboard with it (don't even try to look for the posts in question, they've been safely deleted so as not to freak out any new readers that might accidentally stumble upon them :D) Anyways, since this whole style blogging is about challenging yourself, even if only just a little, here's my take on leopard print circa 2013. Look of the Day: Ballinciaga

I love the new trend of messed up brand logos like this Ballinciaga dress that immediately caught my eye. Another thing I love is smock silhouettes so obviously I had to get my hands on this piece. Some of my instagram followers have already seen these boots from the H&M's Paris collection that already became my favorites. I really wanted to get them is suede as well, but unfortunately they were nowhere to be found so until I find a suitable replacement the leather ones will have to do :)

Look of the Day: Velvet Underground

A funny personal fact - I can't touch velvet. It's a childhood phobia - the feel of velvet makes me shiver, even if I only imagine touching it :D Imagine how much I like this velvet jacket to have overcome my weirdness to be able to wear it :) Does anyone else have this phobia?

Another cutesy outfit to dilute a chain of black and white on this bloggie. Simply couldn't say no to this denim number, and of course, wearing it with heels would be too inappropriate (lately I've been thinking no dress is appropriate for heels xDD) so I dug out these flatforms that I haven't been wearing nearly enough this summer.

Right now I gotta run, because it's my mom's birthday today and I'm on a mission to find the most beautiful flowers in town!

Look of the Day: Spider Web

Hey guys, I hope you're having a great week so far! 

I'm back home and really tired from the past couple of days, so I think today I'll stay in, answer emails, watch a movie and maybe even cook something! :)
