Look of the Day: When In Crisis

Just a couple years ago leather leggings were like my uniform, I used to wear them all the time, because they looked cool and were easy to wear. I think oftentimes people could recognize me from the back just by looking on my legs - no one else in my surrounding wore such pants :)

Over time blogging has brought a lot of versatility into my outfits and now, if I have time to plan an outfit beforehand, I make sure to never think of leather pants, leaving them for crisis days like yesterday, when I had literally a minute to come up with an outfit. A good thing about pants of this sort is that you can throw on just about anything - this will look like a decent outfit, I promise! :D

Look of the Day: Preppy Style

Hey, everybody, hope you're having a lovely weekend! I'm spending mine tearing between work and social life, so far none of which successful. Here's an outfit I wore a couple days ago, like I said before, I'm all into skirts, trying to wear all possible combinations before it gets too cold for them :) This time I wanted to create sort of a preppy look, so I chose a denim button up and added contrast woolen gloves to finish off the look. Look of the Day: Patchwork Denim

Hi guys! Hope you're having an amazing day! 

Here's what I was wearing earlier today, a total denim look with an old Asos patchwork shirt and my new denim skirt. Not sure how I managed not to show you this shirt earlier, but I've actually been wearing it a lot.

Spend the whole day yesterday in another city for work and came home this morning absolutely exhausted so if you excuse me, I'm off to bed :)

GENERAL PANTS

I'm most definitely not one to shy away from a good print, so I've been hard pressed to not reach straight for these new knitted treats.

Totally coincidentally, my favourite denim addition, features equally as perfect (and matching) aztec print detail.

Knitted trousers - the perfect option for the long-haul flight to LA I can't help but dread.

NEON ON NEON

In the midst of packing for my US/South American summer, I couldn't help but take a moment to snap my latest neon crushes(s).

Lots of excitement fast approaching.

This time next week, I'll be kicking back, relaxing (or possibly recovering) from what is set to be an indulgent weekend of bridal festivities.

Dress and shoes sorted, now all that's missing is the company.

Can't wait for my friends from all corners to fly into Melbourne and help me celebrate.

OMBRE DENIM

      MinkPink ombre denim shirt via Market HQ, Somedays Lovin dress, Tara Wolf chakra & zodiac bracelets  

Every wardrobe needs at least one denim shirt in my opinion. I now have a few, so I tend to look for differences in colour and wash. This is my first ombre denim shirt and it's oversized boyfriend style works perfectly buttoned up and tucked into shorts or simply thrown over a dress like this.

It's now just over two weeks before I pack up and head off overseas.

There is definitely something to be said about the 'travel bug'. Once it's bitten, each time you're hoping to visit just one more city, just one month longer. I'm well and truly hooked and love discovering new places, meeting new people and leaving my mark.

Look of the Day: Classics

Hey, everybody! Here goes the new outfit post. For me denim and red  is one of the most classic outfit combos that looks fresh at any time, hence the name of this post.

This is the first time I'm wearing my DIY neon necklace, I really like how it works with white and red, will definitely think of other fun combos for the summer.

MIXING PRINTS

Lately, It has been all about mixing up the prints.

For day three of the Loreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, I whipped out the floral, leopard and polka dots. I love how playful this outfit is, while still pulling off the tailored look, with the cropped trousers, and pointed stilettos.

Looks like the team at Grazia Australia, also liked this outfit, with my picture appearing in their latest issue. Thanks Grazia - this made my day!
